Another trek that is popular amongst trekkers surrounded by other hillocks and temples is Devarayanadurga. The place is famous for its historical and mythological reasons too. Located at a height of 4000 ft above sea level, the hill is covered with lush greenery and hilly terrain making it a delight for every trekker.
According to the historical shreds of evidence, originally the place was called Anebiddasari, a place where elephants fell. Famous Vishnu Temple, Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is located on the top of the hill which attracts lots of devotees. It takes about 3 hours to complete the trek.
