Overview
Standing atop Shravana Gudda, this 6 m granite statue of Lord Bahubali dates back to the Vijayanagara era (~700 years ago). Similar in posture to its famous counterpart at Shravanabelagola but more intimate in scale, the statue is a centre of ritual devotion and serene meditation.
A gentle stone staircase leads pilgrims to the summit, where sweeping views of Mysuru, KRS Dam, and eucalyptus-covered hills await.
